Pound for pound Vectran fiber is five times stronger than steel and ten times stronger than aluminum, which makes it the material of choice in demanding applications where other fibers fail to meet performance requirements.
This product also demonstrates minimal moisture absorption, outstanding cut and abrasion resistance, high dielectric strength, and melt temperature of 625°F.
